Raise the car and drain the oil from the engine oil pan. Lock the flywheel with the 67.7820.9534 lock, unscrew the flywheel mounting bolts and remove it. Remove the lower clutch housing cover and the engine oil pan with the gasket.
After unscrewing the nuts and bolts, remove the crankshaft rear oil seal holder. Turn the crankshaft until the timing marks on the balance shaft drive gears align (figure 25). Holding the balance shaft from below to prevent it from turning with a 27 mm wrench, unscrew the shaft gear mounting bolt and remove the gear and key.

Install the key and new gear on the balance shaft so that the mark on the gear is opposite the mark on gear 2 of the crankshaft. Secure the gear with a bolt and washer.
Clean off any old sealant residue and degrease the mating surfaces of the cylinder block and the crankshaft rear oil seal holder. Apply KLT-75T sealant to the surfaces of the holder mating with the cylinder block with a continuous bead at least 3 mm wide. Place the holder with the oil seal on the 41.7853.4011 mandrel and move it from the mandrel to the crankshaft flange. Attach the holder to the cylinder block with bolts and nuts.
Install the flywheel on the crankshaft using the installation pin so that the mark (cone-shaped hole) near the rim was opposite the axes of the crankshaft connecting rod journals. Install the washer and flywheel mounting bolts, lock the flywheel with lock 67.7820.9534 and tighten the mounting bolts.
Install the oil pan with the gasket and the lower cover of the clutch housing. Pour motor oil into the engine through the filler neck on the cylinder head cover.
Install and secure the clutch on the flywheel, positioning the driven disk with the protruding part of the hub towards the pressure plate and centering it relative to the flywheel using mandrel 67.7853.9597.
