Remove the front protective cover of the toothed belt and turn the camshaft clockwise until the alignment marks on the pulley and the rear protective cover of the toothed belt match. Loosen the tensioner axle nut and turn it to loosen the belt. Remove the belt from the camshaft pulley.
Holding the camshaft pulley from turning with tool 67.7811.9513, unscrew its fastening bolt and remove the pulley with the key. Remove the old oil seal from the socket and mandrel 67.7853.9580 (pic. 22) press in a new seal.
The mandrel 67.7853.9580 consists of two parts: the guide 1 and the mandrel itself 2. The guide 1, lubricated with engine oil, is installed on the toe of the camshaft, the oil seal is put on the guide and pressed in with mandrel 2. Before pressing, the seat for the oil seal in the cylinder head and bearing housing is degreased camshaft, and then apply the KLT-75T sealant to the seat.
A camshaft pulley with a key is installed and, holding it from turning, fix it with a bolt with a washer, having previously degreased the threaded part of the bolt and applied UG-6 sealant to it.
Put a toothed belt on the camshaft pulley and slightly tighten it with a tension roller, turning it counterclockwise. Turn the crankshaft two turns in the direction of rotation and check that the timing marks on the camshaft pulley match (see fig. 7) and flywheel (see fig. 67).
If the marks do not match, then repeat the installation of the belt by adjusting the position of the camshaft pulley. If the marks match, then adjust the belt tension, as indicated in the section «Engine adjustment», and install the front toothed belt guard.
Reinstall all removed components, check and, if necessary, adjust the ignition timing.
