The body of a sedan-type car, four-door, all-metal, welded, load-bearing structure. The body consists of a frame and hanging parts: hood, trunk lid, doors, bumpers, glazing parts, interior upholstery and exterior trim.
The body frame is a rigid spatial truss consisting of units: the floor base assembled with the front and rear panel, the right and left side panels 8 assembled with the rear wings 18, the front wings 4 assembled with reinforcements and the roof assembled with frames 9 and 12 of the windshield and rear windows.
The body doors consist of two panels - external and internal. The panels are connected by welding along the perimeter. On the inside, the door trim made of polyvinyl chloride film welded to the wood fiber board is attached to the door on spring holders. All doors are equipped with safety glass. All locks are rotary with door opening blocking.
The hood is hung on the body along the front edge and locked with a lock. The lock is equipped with a cable drive with handle 6 (see Fig. Hood lock), located in the passenger compartment on the left side under the instrument panel.
The trunk lid is similar in design to the hood. The lock is opened only by turning the key. Torsion bars 4 (see Fig. Removal the trunk lid) make it easier to open the lid and keep it open.
Front seats with individual adjustment of the position and tilt of the backrest. The seats can move along the cabin by 155 mm. The backrest has coarse and fine tilt adjustment. To create a sleeping place, the seat can be moved forward an additional 83 mm, and the backrests can be folded down.
Heating of the passenger compartment is provided by the air flow, heated by liquid from the engine cooling system. The heater is controlled by handles 13 (see Fig. Heater control drive) control levers.
