Install the wheel cylinder on the brake shield and attach the brake fluid supply pipe to it, tighten the fitting nut to failure
Attach lever 2 to the block (see fig. 6-18) the manual drive of the pads and install the pads with the spacer bar 9. Install the racks with springs and lower cups, then put the top cups and fix them on the racks by turning in one direction or another. Make sure that the ends of the shoes are positioned correctly in the seats of the wheel cylinder and on the brake shield.
Install the coupling springs of the shoes and attach the tip of the cable 5 of the manual drive of the shoes to the lever 2.
Install the brake drum, having previously lubricated the axle shaft seating belt and the surface of its flange in contact with the drum, with graphite grease or LSTs-15 grease, and tighten the drum mounting bolts to failure. The application of grease will facilitate the subsequent removal of the brake drum.
If the wheel cylinder was removed during disassembly, remove air from the rear brake drive circuit.
