Remove the instrument cluster (see Removal the instrument cluster).
On a car with a carburetor engine, remove the air damper drive (see Removal the air damper drive)
On a vehicle with an injection engine, disconnect the two connectors of the APS status indicator (see Removal the control unit (immobilizer) and the status indicator of the vehicle anti-theft system (ATS)).
Remove the radio mounting panel (see Removal the radio mounting panel).

Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the three screws securing the trim of the right windshield pillar..

We remove the upholstery.
Similarly, we remove the trim of the left windshield pillar.

Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the heater control lever bracket to the instrument panel.

Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the screw in the lower left part of the instrument panel.

Using a 10 mm head, unscrew the two nuts in the upper part of the instrument cluster socket (the steering wheel has been removed for clarity).

Using an 8 mm spanner, unscrew the bolt on the right side of the instrument cluster socket.

Using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the two nuts at the top of the glove compartment.

Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew one screw in the lower left corner of the glove compartment…

…and one in the lower right.

Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the screw in the lower right part of the instrument panel.
We remove the instrument panel from the studs by pulling it towards us,…

…and we take it out.
We install the instrument panel in the reverse order.
