Clear (replace) strainer and diaphragms can be replaced without removing the pump from the engine (for clarity, we perform these operations on a dismantled pump).
key «on 10» Loosen the screw securing the pump cover.
Remove the cover and take out the strainer.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the six screws connecting the upper and lower pump housings...
...and disconnect the hulls.
After pressing and turning the diaphragm assembly by 90°, we remove it from the lower housing and remove the spring from the stem.
key «for 8» loosen the stem nut...
... and sequentially remove from the stem: a washer, an upper steel plate, two working diaphragms, an outer and an inner spacer, a safety diaphragm and a lower plate.
We assemble the pump in the reverse order. When installing diaphragms, we combine their holes (for screws) with holes in the lower pump housing.
We install the strainer in the pump housing so that its opening is located above the suction valve. The filter opening must fit into the valve opening.
