Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the clamps securing the suction and discharge hoses..
... and remove the hoses from the pump nozzles.
head «at 13» unscrew the two nuts securing the pump to the cylinder block.
We remove the pump from the studs.
Remove the outer lining.
We take out the pusher.
We take out the heat-insulating spacer.
We remove one more gasket.
Install the pump in reverse order.
After installing the heat-insulating spacer with both gaskets, the minimum protrusion of the pusher above the plane of the outer gasket should be 0.8–1.3 mm.
To check, slowly turn the engine crankshaft by pressing the pusher with your finger.
We measure the minimum protrusion of the pusher.
We adjust the protrusion of the pusher by selecting gaskets of different thicknesses (see the description of the power supply system of the carburetor engine).
