Chock the rear wheels and remove the front wheels.
Puller 67.7824.9516 (see fig. 5-10) press the fingers out of the steering knuckle levers and move the steering rods to the sides.
Detach stem 6 (pic. 4-6) stabilizer from the lower suspension arms.

Disconnect the extensions 5 from the body brackets and cross members.
Disconnect the shock absorbers from the lower suspension arms.
Remove the protective plate of the crankcase and mudguard.
Remove the front brake caliper from each side without disconnecting the brake hoses, and hang it so that the caliper does not hang on the hoses.
Compress the suspension spring until the lower arm is completely unloaded.
Disconnect the ball joint from the lower arm and remove the spring, smoothly unloading it, repeat the operations for another suspension unit.
Detach axle 49 (rice. 4-1) the upper arm from the bracket 7 of the suspension cross member and remove the upper arm 46 complete with the steering knuckle, wheel hub, front brake and outer hinge housing.
Note. When removing the axle of the upper arm, it is necessary to note the number and location of the washers between the axle of the upper arm and the cross member, as well as the adjusting plates between the cross member and the side member of the body, so that when installing the nodes, put the washers and plates in their original place.
Disconnect the rubber engine mounts from the cross member brackets.
Place a hydraulic jack with a device for fixing the cross member under the suspension cross member and, supporting the engine with a traverse 67.7820.9514 or a hoist, disconnect the suspension cross member from the body side members, as well as the brackets 47 of the rebound buffers.
Remove cross member 1 complete with lower arms 4.
Install suspension components and parts in the reverse order of removal. Springs on the suspension are installed only one class, (class A - without marking, class B - with black marking on the outer surface of the turns). It is allowed to install class A springs on the front suspension if class B springs are installed on the rear suspension.
After assembling and installing the suspension, check the angles of installation and convergence of the wheels.
