The air filter is installed in the front right part of the engine compartment on three rubber supports 11 (rice. 9-16).
Outside air through the intake 5 and the pipe 4 is sucked into the housing 10 of the air filter. Then the air passes through the paper filter element 9, the mass air flow sensor 7, the intake pipe hose 6 and the throttle pipe 2. From the throttle pipe, the heated air is directed to the channels of the receiver 12 and the intake pipe, then to the cylinder head and cylinders.
Filter element replacement
1. Turn away four bolts of fastening, remove a cover 8 of the air filter together with the gauge 7 of the mass expense of air and a hose 6 of an inlet pipe.
2. Replace the filter element 9 with a new one so that its corrugations are parallel to the center line of the vehicle.
3. Install and secure the air filter cover.
