Drain the oil from the engine crankcase.
If an oil leak is detected from under the crankcase, tighten the bolts of its fastening. If this does not help, then the crankcase gasket is damaged and needs to be replaced.
1. Loosen the three mounting screws (spring washers are installed under the bolt heads) And...
2....remove the lower shield of the clutch housing.
3. Remove eleven crankcase mounting bolts.
4. Disconnect the front support 1 of the power unit from the bracket 2 (see subsection 10.7, operations 33–35 for details). Raise the front of the engine and set the stop 3.
5. Remove the oil pan.
6. Remove the gasket from the crankcase (the gasket may remain on the block).
7. Install the crankcase in the reverse order of removal. Before installation for ease of installation "glue" gasket to the crankcase with grease. Pour oil into the engine crankcase.
