key «at 13» unscrew the nut of the lower output of the traction relay.
We remove the wire.
head «for 8» unscrew the two bolts securing the traction relay..
...and take it off.
We remove the anchor of the traction relay.
key «on 10» unscrew the nuts of the tie rods.
We remove the stator together with the anchor from the cover studs.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws..
... and remove the back cover.
Take off the brush holder.
We take out the anchor.
We remove the central gear from the armature shaft..
... and the anchor shaft support.
We take out three planetary gears.
Knock out the drive shaft with a soft metal drift..
... and remove it complete with drive shaft support and lever.
Remove the sealing gasket.
We install the drive shaft on a wooden stand.
We rely on the jaws of the open-end wrench «at 14» on the limit ring...
... and, hitting the key with a hammer, we compress the restrictive ring.
We pry off the locking ring with a screwdriver..
...and take it off.
Remove the restrictor ring.
We remove the drive assembly.
Pry off the retaining ring with pliers..
...remove it..
... and a layering ring with a washer.
To replace the brushes, we pry off the plastic covers..
...and the springs underneath.
We assemble the starter in reverse order.
Before mounting the brush holder on the armature collector, remove all four springs so that the brushes «gone» into guides.
We insert the anchor with the brush holder put on, the installed springs and their covers into the stator.
