There are five fuses in the injection system wiring harness. Fuse 16 (50 A) is installed in a separate housing. It protects the intake manifold heater circuit. The other four fuses (15 A each) are installed in a separate fuse box 17, located on the left side under the instrument panel. The purpose of these fuses is shown in Table 9-1.
Table 9-1. Purpose of the injection system fuses
| Fuse | Protected circuits |
| 1-2 | Electric fuel pump relay (contacts). Electric fuel pump. Injector. |
| 3-4 | Oxygen concentration sensor. Speed sensor. Evaporative canister valve. Relay (winding) for switching on the intake manifold heater. |
| 5-6 | Controller. Ignition module. |
| 7-8 | Spare |
In addition to the fuses, there is also a "fuse link" at the end of the red wire that connects to the battery. This "fuse link" is made in the form of a piece of black wire with a cross-section of 1 mm², while the main red wire has a cross-section of 6 mm².
