Turn the crankshaft until the mark matches (holes) on the camshaft sprocket with a mark on the camshaft bearing housing.
Removing the crankshaft pulley (see Replacing the front crankshaft oil seal). Disconnect the camshaft sprocket with chain from the camshaft (see Removal of a camshaft and levers of a drive of valves of an injection engine). Remove the chain from the sprocket.
For clarity, we show the operation of removing the chain on a dismantled engine.
We unscrew the three bolts securing the oil pan to the camshaft drive cover (see Removing the oil pan and engine oil pump on a car).
head «on 10» unscrew the three nuts and six bolts securing the camshaft drive cover to the cylinder block.
Under one nut (From the left side) fixed «mass» the wire.
Remove the camshaft cover...
...and a gasket.
head «at 17» unscrew the axis of the shoe of the hydraulic chain tensioner...
...and remove the axle.
Take out the tensioner shoe.
Remove the chain from the crankshaft sprockets and the oil pump drive shaft.
Remove the camshaft drive chain.
With a puller we press the sprocket from the toe of the crankshaft...
...and take it off.
The sprocket is fixed on the crankshaft with a segment key.
To remove the pin...
... carefully, trying not to damage the key and the shaft, with a chisel we knock it out of the groove of the crankshaft...
...and remove the pin.
Using a chisel, unlock the bolt securing the sprocket of the oil pump drive shaft.
ring wrench «at 17» unscrew the sprocket mounting bolt. We hold the sprocket from turning with a screwdriver, resting through the hole in the sprocket on the head of the bolt of the roller thrust flange.
Shooting pucks...
...and the oil pump drive shaft sprocket.
The location of the parts of the camshaft drive and oil pump.
We install the parts of the drive mechanism in reverse order.
Having installed the key in the groove of the crankshaft, we put on an asterisk...
... and press it onto the crankshaft, tightening the pulley fastening nut with a wrench.
Having unscrewed the nut, we press the sprocket with a tool head of a suitable size (pipe section).
Before installing the chain, combine the label (notch over the keyway) on the crankshaft sprocket with a mark (ledge) on the cylinder block...
... and a mark on the camshaft sprocket with a mark on the shaft bearing housing.
Having installed the chain and the hydraulic tensioner, we turn the crankshaft clockwise two turns and check that the alignment marks match.
Install the removed parts in reverse order.
