Attention! We carry out the work in case of failure of one or more hydraulic bearings of the valve drive levers.
Removing the cylinder head cover (see Replacing the cylinder head cover gasket).
To assess the condition of the hydraulic support, insert a screwdriver between the edge of the camshaft bearing housing and the valve drive lever.
In this case, the camshaft cam must be facing the valve drive lever «back of the head» (valve closed).
Leaning with a screwdriver on the bearing housing, we press through the lever on the hydraulic support. In the normal state, the hydrosupport should be pressed through with considerable effort. If the force is low, the hydraulic support must be replaced. To do this, remove the camshaft and valve drive levers (see Removal of a camshaft and levers of a drive of valves of an injection engine).
head «at 24» unscrew the hydraulic support of the valve drive lever...
...and take it out.
In the same way, we dismantle the hydraulic supports of the levers of other valves.
Remove the oil supply frame to the hydraulic bearings.
We shift the oil-supplying sleeve of the hydraulic support from the frame tube...
...and take it off.
Similarly, we shoot three more
oil-supply bushings of hydraulic bearings.
The tightness of the connection between the frame tube and the oil supply bushings is ensured by rubber sealing rings installed in the bushings. In the extreme bushings, one sealing ring is installed, in the others - two. To replace the o-ring, pry it with a screwdriver...
... and remove from the sleeve.
Before assembly, we clean, rinse with gasoline and blow with compressed air the channels in the tube and oil supply bushings of the frame. We install new o-rings in the bushings and lubricate them with engine oil. Carefully, so as not to damage the rings, we put the bushings on the tube.
Before screwing in the hydraulic bearings of the valve levers...
... with a syringe we pump out oil from the hydraulic bearing sockets in the cylinder head.
